Strange Dreams

I didn't sleep well last night, lots of tossing and turning. Usually I don't remember my dreams, or I do for the first few minutes I am awake and then they quickly fade out of my mind. But last night I had several that I remember, and they were all bad! A night full of people trying to chase me, attack me and worse! What do you think all that means? Why is my mind making me run and hide in my dreams all night?

So, I have some exciting news- My family is coming down to San Antonio from Nebraska this weekend and staying through next weekend. They are going to spend time with my son Connor during the day while I'm at work and I will get to see them when I get off work at night. I know they will have a blast with Connor, he is 18 months old and loves exploring his world!

In addition to them getting to hang with Connor and me, it will be the first time they get to meet my girlfriend Keri. She is an absolutely amazing woman, she is so beautiful, hilarious, so much fun to be with and an inspiration to me. She is incredibly creative and makes everyday an adventure. I am really looking forward to this time with everyone all together for the first time. I have been a little nervous about it all coming together and I don't really understand why. But as I have been thinking about life and what's really important to me I have realized that the most important things in my life are all coming together for the first time, my parents, my sister, my son and my Keri. This is a happy time, a wonderful time and I am lucky for it to be happening to me!

Crazy weather last night! It felt like a tornado was going through 281 and 1604! Lots of people with out power and traffic lights down around town. It took me 30 minutes to go about 2 miles on Stone Oak this morning and then as I was getting on 1604 I came across this tree that fell in the middle of the road. I felt like I was on Storm Chasers on Discovery Channel.
