Kids love animals and catching my one year old son toddle around while looking at monkeys is awesome. Plus the price of a family membership is a steal! Great place to spend an afternoon.

Love 3D on IMAX. Just be careful of where you sit. I thought Harry Potter was going to poke my eye out with his wand.

Majestic Theatre (208 E Houston St)
I was a theater minor in college, so I love seeing shows. There is nothing like the Majestic in San Antonio. If you haven't ever been, its a great place for a date and a lot of fun. We've seen a lot of shows there including Lewis Black and Seinfeld. Some of my favorite nights in San Antonio have happened there.

Places To Eat

Alamo Draft House (1255 SW Loop 410)
Theres nothing like drinking a beer and eating a hamburger while watching a movie on the big screen. Plus, they are opening a new location pretty soon near North Star. Love that place.
Taco Taco Cafe (145 E Hildebrand Ave)
Voted best tacos on the planet (I think).
Chris Madrid's (1900 Blanco Rd)
Best burgers anywhere. Dude, what if Chris Madrids teamed up with Alamo Draft House??? That would be PERFECT!
The Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar (1287 Gruene Rd)
Located in the Gruene Historic District in New Braunfels. It's a great place to get away for the afternoon, have some good food, a few margaritas and just chill. The view through the trees down to the river is beautiful.

Nightlife

Chicago Bar (19141 Stone Oak Pkwy)
Only been there a few times. The bartender girls wore PJ's last time, strange and cool at the same time. Plus, I was there with good friends.
Sherlocks Baker Street Pub (16620 San Pedro Ave)
Nothing says a good time like a few shots of Jager at Scherlocks. Many good times out there.

Fun Things To Do

Tubing - Nothing is better.
The Ghost Tracks - I've tried it a bunch of times. It's gotta be a hoax.
Fiesta - San Antonio will party for any reason. This is a good one.
Oyster Bake - I've spent the last 4 years working at Oyster Bake. Even after 20 hours in the sun its a blast!
NIOSA - Duh! Kinda feels like a high school passing period (except with people of all ages) with the halls lined with fried everything and kegs. Yeah, just like school!
Battle Of Flowers and Fiesta Flambeau Parades - What an experience!
Friday Night Football - I'm from Nebraska and there are football fans up there, BUT there is nothing like the excitement that bleeds out of fans when the Friday Night Lights come on.
MLK March - Proud that the nation's largest MLK March happens here in San Antonio. I've worked it for the last 4 years and we were always set up at the end so I haven't ever walked it. The experience of seeing 100,000 people over-flowing the streets as they walk with pride is very moving. It's one of my favorite things about San Antonio.

Chupacabras - Still haven't seen one. But we look for them a lot.
NOT Cedar Fever.
The fact that most apartments have fire places. Most of the year its over 80 degrees. I find this very funny.
