Why was Michelle nominated:
I am nominating Mrs. Dalton for this award because I feel that she is very deserving to have her name recognized as one of San Antonio's finest teachers. Mrs. Dalton goes the extra mile to make sure that we are all learning. Mrs. Dalton has shown me how to write this year. It is because of her trust in me, that I am now able to write essays about any topic she assigns and with great detail and correct punctuation. I look forward to doing to school everyday because I know that Mrs. Dalton will be teaching something worthwhile that will have a lasting impact on our future. Mrs. Dalton is an expert on science experiments, Texas history, math, reading and of course writing. Before coming to her class, I really didn't care much for reading. She has our class participating in the accelerated reader program and because of her, I now also have taken on the love and joy of reading. I realize that there are numerous nominations coming into your station about great teachers. I ask that you please consider Mrs. Dalton for this award that she so very much deserves.

Letter From Patti Anderson
I am asking that you please consider my son's and my nomination in considering Mrs. Dalton as teacher of the month. As a mom and current high school teacher, I can tell you for a fact that Mrs. Dalton is one of the most talented, caring and dedicated teacher's I have ever seen. My son Michael has made some great leaps in fourth grade thanks to this caring and dedicated teacher. He is starting to write like a pro and loves to read. He currently has acquired 204 accelerated reader points. Mrs. Dalton has most definitely instilled the love of writing and reading in my son Michael. Everyday when I drop Michael off at school I see a teacher who is eager for the day to begin because she has so much knowledge to instill in her students. Mrs. Dalton is a caring dedicated, fabulous teacher whom I feel is very deserving of this award. I'm sure if you met her, you would feel the same way too.
