| Butterflies: Caterpillar Flight School The San Antonio Zoo's butterfly exhibit, "Butterflies: Caterpillar Flight School", will be open from Saturday, March 6th through Sunday, March 21st. The exhibit is a favorite of visitors of all ages, featuring a spectacular garden where you can immerse yourself in a lush butterfly habitat surrounded by hundreds of butterflies moving freely throughout the exhibit. It's a photographer's paradise filled with 15 to 20 species of butterflies which will delight guests through intimate interaction and fun-filled photo opportunities. These beautiful, colorful creatures are curious, approachable and often rest on visitors as they stroll through the garden. Guests go home with a greater understanding and appreciation of these fragile, beautiful butterflies, and the importance of maintaining their habitat to ensure their survival. | Health Collaborative Project Measure Up The Health Collaborative is recruiting community volunteers for the Project Measure Up Volunteer Corps. The group assists local school districts in conducting health and general physical fitness tests for students in grades 3 through 12 as mandated by the Texas Legislature. A one-year time commitment and availability during daytime hours are required. A free background check and CPR training will be provided. Participants will be able to earn community service hours for themselves and their club or organization. College students can use the time to meet internship requirements. A training session is scheduled for March 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Davis Scott YMCA, 1213 Iowa. Advance registration is required to enable attendees to obtain a volunteer application that must be completed before coming to the training session.
