Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock
The dirt continues to spill on the Pamela Anderson – Kid Rock divorce. Now it's Rock's friends who are saying that he was tired of staying home with the kids while she was out partying and that he moved from Detroit to L.A. with his son to be with her, but she was never home. Pam seemed to confirm the story in this month's Blender, in which she says, "When I go to Hollywood, I start at the Chateau Marmont and then I usually end up naked in David LaChapelle's studio taking crazy pictures. That's usually a night for me. Four or five in the morning, lying across a car in David's studio." Kid also suspects Pam may not have been entirely truthful about the miscarriage story. He flew to Canada where she's filming a movie to be with her and she went out every night. For her part, Pam's rep said she had only been to LaChapelle's studio twice since she married, she's a great mom, and there was a miscarriage. A friend of Pam's adds, "Every time Pam was shooting her movie, her mother came to watch the kids because Kid was in Detroit recording an album. He never once single-parented her kids." It could get uglier from here as Pam refused to sign a pre-nup that he asked her to and Kid is apparently the one with the money.

Kevin Federline
It's now reported that Kevin Federline was rehearsing scenes with former porn star Kendra Jade a month before Britney Spears hit him with divorce papers. They met in Las Vegas last December while Britney was visiting her family in Louisiana, and the two stayed in touch. They apparently stayed in touch in more ways than one as a source tells the tabloid The Star that Kevin and Kendra had sex at their friends' apartment multiple times, starting in early October. This friend would phone Kendra and a few other girls to come hang out, and it would always end up with Kevin and Kendra heading off to the spare bedroom. Even though Federline is available, don't look for him and Kendra to become a couple as the source explains, "They're just friends who have sex." Meanwhile, Britney may have another breakup on her hands. There may be trouble between Britney and Paris Hilton as Spears has backed out of co-hosting the Billboard Music Awards with Paris without giving a reason, just days before Monday night's show.

In a move sure to disappoint the paparazzi and Internet voyeurs, Britney Spears bought some underwear. After a recent series of photos hit the web exposing Britney's intimate grooming habits, she spent more than $3000 on thongs and other fancy unmentionables at the trendy Le Bra Lingerie boutique in West Hollywood. If you want the details, she bought a camisole and thong for $1315, a bustier and thong for $510, a black corset and matching red thong for $300, and a yellow bra and thong for $333, among other things. Perhaps you'll be seeing them soon.

Nicole Richie
The skinny on Nicole Richie is that she's going through a nasty breakup with her former stylist, Rachel Zoe. Last week, Richie ended her two-year relationship with Zoe, saying she "wanted to surround herself with positive people and influences." That prompted Zoe to issue a statement saying, "There has been a lot of speculation as to the cause of my parting with client Nicole Richie. After trying to be a good friend to Nicole, we made a mutual decision to sever our working relationship. I have nothing but love for Nicole and wish her only health and happiness." But, does she? Word around Tinseltown is that Zoe is the one responsible for Nicole's scary weight loss and that Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson and Mischa Barton also seemed to slim down after hooking up with Zoe. Nicole turned it up a notch by posting an item on her MySpace page Monday, asking, "What 35-year-old raisin face whispers her order of 3 pieces of asparagus for dinner at Chateau every night, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, and used her last paycheck I wrote her to pay for a publicist instead of a nutritionist? HINT: Her nickname is Lettucecup."

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams
The buzz is that Brokeback Mountain co-stars Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams are about to tie the knot. They were spotted getting a marriage license in Brooklyn last week. They have a one-year-old daughter, but their people are refusing to confirm the rumors.

Rod Stewart and Rachel Hunter
Some seven years after wife Rachel Hunter hit the bricks, she and Rod Stewart have finally divorced. That means that Rod is now free to marry his fiancee Penny Lancaster. Lancaster gave birth to their son Alastair last year.

Madonna
A judge in Malawi has ruled in favor of a coalition of 67 Malawian human rights and child advocacy groups to determine whether to give final approval to Madonna's adoption. The judge had raised a stink with the groups when he granted Madonna and Guy Ritchie an interim order allowing them to take custody of 14-month-old David Banda. The rights groups had said they were concerned the government had cut legal corners to fast-track the adoption. The organizations will now be part of the government's decision making process on the adoption with a final decision expected next May.

Sofia Coppola and Thomas Mars
Sofia Coppola and her French musician boyfriend Thomas Mars are the parents of a baby girl. Romy, named after Sofia's brother Roman, was born on Tuesday in Paris. Mother and daughter are said to be well.

Jennifer Lopez
Is Jennifer Lopez turning to Scientology in her efforts to become a mother? Life and Style magazine reports that after bumping into Scientologist Leah Remini at the Tom Cruise – Katie Holmes wedding, she clued J.Lo in that the religion's programs helped her conceive. Lopez is desperate to try anything to have a baby, but even if it's true and it works, don't look for her and husband Marc Anthony to join the church because he's a devout Catholic.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have yet another new love nest. They reportedly cut a check for $4.75 million and bought a six-bedroom cottage in the "exclusive community" of Dormans Park, 30 miles outside London.

Anna Nicole Smith
It looks like Anna Nicole Smith is homeless in the Bahamas. A court has ordered her to vacate the house she's living in. Real estate tycoon G. Ben Thompson filed papers claiming the house was his and Smith was required to respond to the filing by Monday, but failed to do so. That means Thompson won by default and can now force Smith out of the house.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo
Things must be getting very serious between Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. The two are said to be house-hunting in L.A. and Vanessa is letting friends know that she may be willing to quit her job in New York to relocate to the West Coast to be with Nick and, she hopes, launch a film career. However, this won't be Nick's only major purchase. Lachey is becoming a part-owner of the Tacoma Rainiers baseball team. It's the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

Michael Richards
Michael Richards is getting support from Mel Gibson. Mel can certainly relate to Richards' ordeal and he tells Entertainment Weekly, "I feel really badly for the guy. He was obviously in a state of stress. You don't need to be inebriated to be bent out of shape." Meanwhile, TV producer Sam Simon says Richards' rant came as no surprise to him, or anyone else in Hollywood. Insiders have known all along that Richards is prone to bizarre, temperamental behavior. Simon says that Richards even threatened the life of Spike Feresten, the creator of his short-lived "Michael Richards Show." He says that Richards calmly told Feresten, "I have a gun. I'm going to kill you, and I'll do the time." He also says Richards once quit the show in the middle of production and wouldn't return until coaxed back by the president of the network and that another time was found in a corner of a soundstage, weeping uncontrollably. Meanwhile, the whole thing isn't hurting sales of the season seven "Seinfeld" DVD set. Sales are up 75 percent over season six and 90 percent over season five. This despite Jesse Jackson calling for a boycott of the DVD's.

Rupert Murdoch
It looks like media mogul Rupert Murdoch did okay on that O.J. Simpson book deal, after all. After pulling the plug on the book and TV interview, it wasn't a total loss as Murdoch collected a cool $1 million from ABC. It turned out that Barbara Walters was very interested in sitting down with O.J., but ultimately decided against it. However, as part of the negotiations, ABC had agreed to a so-called 'kill fee.' That meant if ABC tied the publisher up in negotiations, only to say 'no, thanks,' they would have to pay a $1 million fee.

Danny DeVito
Danny DeVito had some kind of meltdown on "The View" yesterday morning. Apparently it was alcohol induced as he said he had been partying with George Clooney the night before and had not slept. Danny told the ladies, "I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me." DeVito looked tired and frazzled and occasionally slurred his speech. DeVito then went on a rant about President Bush and his visit to the White House, although most of it had to be bleeped. At one point he even sat on Rosie O'Donnell's lap. However, DeVito has since sobered up and apologized to Barbara Walters. DeVito's rep says he had no idea whether DeVito was drunk during his appearance but did say he has never had a problem with drinking.
