The Shopping & Fashion Challenge (03/07/10)
We decided to take the guys out for a little adventure this week. When it comes to this challenge, the pressure is on them!

As the couples arrived at the station, they were immediately separated. Guys were put into a van and all cell phones were confiscated. Once the girls were taken upstairs, it was time to open the envelope and read what their first challenge would entail.

This is so exciting! When Brad and I walked in the door we were separated and told the guys were going to be driven to another surprise location. I didn’t even know what to think… then we were all seated in a room directly down this hall decked with streamers, bubble pens, and balloons. We opened these envelopes with our names on them to find out the guys were out shopping for us. Everything was, well is, so suspenseful from the envelopes to the confiscating of cell phones.

I just don’t even know what to think right now, but I am ecstatic to be here. Even if we don’t win, this is a really cool experience and I just know Brad’s going to be intrigued with the studios here because producing music is a passion of his

So...here I am at the Magic 105.3 studio in anticipation of taking my first challenge involved in the Dream Wedding Contest.

Right now I await the return of my fiancé from Kohl’s where he is currently attempting to choose an outfit for me that’s appropriate for a dinner and a movie date, while staying within a budget of $105.30. While I am confident he will do well in choosing an outfit that will rock my socks off, I’m still nervous about everything.

Either way, this whole experience is extremely exciting! Anyway, when Adam returns with the outfit I have to do my little turn on the catwalk while Adam emcees.

I can picture him now- running around like a chicken with his head cut off! He is probably freaking out right now, as am I. Peter has just been given the task of picking out an outfit for me for a seafood dinner and movie date.

This is going to be interesting. Peter does not like to shop… but boy do I! So I mostly shop for clothes by myself. I hope he keeps in mind that I’m not a fan of loud prints or neon colors! Peter knows I’m pretty simple when it comes to dress- and I’m a filp-flop chic, so I hope he buys me some!

What a whirlwind this has been- and we have only been here about 30 minutes! What a fun day this is gonna be! Can’t wait to see what top/bottom he picked out- and I hope he gets shoes that fit for my size 11 feet! No matter what happens, this has already been a great adventure for us both!
